Robin van Persie has told that he is enjoying life at Manchester United and is keen to rise to the challenge.

“It’s fun and it’s going well,” he said. “It is a great challenge. I will have to change a bit, but that happens in life often enough.”

The FA have confirmed that Van Persie won’t face charges for apparently elbowing Yohan Cabaye during United’s 3-0 win, despite Alan Pardew’s protests.

Van Persie was asked what he thought of their decision, to which he replied: “I agree with the union.”
