Kitbag.com has today announced that Manchester United’s Van Persie has been the most popular name printed on the back of replica football shirts, during the current 12/13 Premier League season.
The findings revealed that Van Persie accounted for 25.4% of all personalised replica football shirt sales, followed by Gerrard (8.2%), Rooney (6%), Kagawa (5.8%) and Suarez (3.6%).
Last season, Rooney was at the top spot with (8.4%) of all personalised replica football shirt sales, followed by former Arsenal striker Van Persie, (7.9%), Chicharito (7.5%), Gerrard (5.0%) and Giggs (4.6%). Overall Manchester United football shirts remained the most popular for name printing.
