ANDERSON!!!
Yes, so pleased for the lad, hopefully he can get a few like that in the prem, valencia goal was pretty decent good build up play, and the team do look really together when they celebrate, i know this is only pre season but i think the team is looking very decent indeed :)

Is Ando trying to do the moonwalk? Seems like a Michael Jackson tribute :P

if its one person that deserves a goal,ando definitely deserves one.and what a beauty it was.this will surely boost his confidence for the upcoming season.ando is no defensive midfielder.he needs to given the responsibilty to roam forward and support the attack.anyway,i guess fergie must know what he's doing.

I have a good feeling that we will kill it this season.
I reckon we have a really well balanced team.
I just need fletcher, anderson and carrick to step up in the middle.

Thats Anderson on his way.....
I think his luck will change this year.....remember how Cesc Fabregas first burst on to the scene...he used to do everything except put the ball in th net.....and after a couple of years he took to mature, he's now scoring regularly....I think its gonna be a similar situation for Anderson....he'll mature a lot this season

I just thought that with Ronaldo around and playing Big Daddy to Nani and Anderson, they never really felt that responsibility to mature and step up to the plate...Now with him gone, they will feel it their responsibility to impose themselves a bit more and will really grow up this season....

Well done once again lad...

first goal in 76 apper for anderson and as shocking as that stat is
i couldnt believe valencia only scored 4 in seasons at wigan
he's fast strong knows where to put the ball at what time and has the balls to take a shot . signs are fantastic
nani
nani
nani
what do i say , the guy should have shot more yesterday?? fair play to him thou he's spreading the ball more lookin for a pass than a shot from 30yards or more. . .

Nice goals.

Andersen was not as good last season.

Pretty annoying when people compare valencia to ronaldo.

Reckon ronaldo was one of a kind.

Manchester City (Chelsea clone) are sweeping up all these players and i wonder whether they ruining football?

I got to see some of the second half and was in aww at Boca's technical ability!!

We did well containing them & it would have done our fitness levels the world of good. Some rusty passing.

I sure hope nani gets his arse in gear tho. I think what he needs to do is relax, he looks so nervious on the ball. Maybe trying to impress too much, trying to prove his worth i dont know. His passing is rushed & doesnt keep it simple enough for me. I think what the boy needs to do is work on the simple things a winger should do, Do the simple things right first and then get a bit of confidence.

For me in any position although you may have the tallent you also need a little bit of luck from time to time and more importantly you need confidence. Nani doesnt have any at the moment, Anderson was lacking & i hope his goal will spurt him on.

Anderson however when he played has in many many games been very close to scoring so i think its only a matter of time. Once his confidence levels are up then im sure he will get 9 -10 a season! I can only hope in his first 3-4 games he scores another! That will set his season.

Lads on another topic!!

I was impressed with Fabio yesterday, It had been romoured that was the better of the 2 brothers. I do remember it mentioned that prior to joining United both Fabio & Raf played for Brazil under 18s or 21s in a tournament and Fabio was captain. Brazil won the tournament & Fabio was player of the Tournament & Also was the tournaments or Brazils top goal scorer & from Left back!!!

If Fabio gets a few games this season & does well i would not be supprised if Evra gets sold next season or the season after. Not that i would want him to go but i wouldnt be suprised! Same thing sort of happened with Heinze. He was immence for us, then evra pops up & Fergie realised the Game has addapted and the Modern full back has to be better in attack than Defence or have a good attacking ability i mean!

Evra isn't like Judas Heinze though, he's a lad who everyday in his own words wakes up and thanks god for being able to play for Manchester United.

He is so immensely popular with the fans and on his day the best left back in the world I wouldnt condone him being sold at all!. An experienced left-back will only help Fabio improve I am sure the Da Silva twins realize they are young and still learning.

@trevor

Heinze was Never a world class Left back.evra has pace and good energy.Heinze never had that pace and dribbling ability.Fabio and Da Laet have great potential and i m sure they will do well in the future but they still have lot to learn from rio and Vida as far as their defending and positional sense goes.

@five Said,

There was romours last season about Barca & inter wanting him. From his reaction he didnt state strongly enough that he wouldnt go etc so you never know whats round the corner!

If fergie gest offered 25 - 30 mil for him next season and he sees fabio as a direct replacement Fegie will sell him & Invest the money back in the team.

I do agree for me Evra is the best if not one of the best left backs in the game today! I said i wouldnt be supprised, but i didnt say id be extremly happy either!

Yes an experienced Full back can help the Twins but it gets to a point where they need games! They only get that playing every nearly every week.

This is where Raf will have the advantage, Brown is a sick note and always will be and Nev i think will struggle with injuries for the rest of his carrer. Although both match fit are up there with the best right backs in europe for me!!

@aig alex

For me Hinze was immence for us, that lad could defend and at a time where our defence was not as good as it is now.

The point i was making is that Fergie is a shurd opperator and without second thought will sell someone if he thinks it benifits the team!

For me what i was saying is that if Fabio plays outstanding this year, & there is not much differnce to Evra & Fabio. If he gets offered 25 - 30 mil for evra who will be 28 or 29 he will take it and reinvest in the team!

With regards to Heinze wanting to go to Liverpool it was obvious at the time fergie was trying to sell him!

liverpool came in for him and he wanted to go there! ... Thank fuck he didnt, woud have made a big difference to that team!

Fair point,but i think we need to give both rafael and fabio atleast 2 more seasons.

Also dont forget Richie Da Laet.He has been brilliant for the reserves and against hull in the fina game.Fabio shud get more exposure this season but Evra obviously will be first choice.

also both Rafael and fabio need to gain some weight.

Stunning goal from Anderson. He was very cool in the Chaps Lge Final pen shoot-out in 2008, so I'd like to see him given more opportunities with free kicks.

On Heinze, he was never the same after his injuries. He became wilder in his tackling and more headstrong, something of a liability by the end, diving in desperately, as if no longer sure of his own judgement. He was even worse when I saw him for Real last season. I was surprised Liverpool wanted him to be honest
