Anderson is hugely popular with the United faithful, showing bags of skill, confidence, fight, and potential to become one of the World’s greatest.
The only area he has been lacking so far is in the scoring department, with his debut season finishing without a goal. Some might say he made up for this with his penalty against Chelsea in the European Cup final though.
However, Anderson was playing in Brazil’s 5-0 routing of New Zealand, opening the scoring with 4 minutes played. Ronaldinho (AC Milan), Pato (AC Milan) and Rafael Augusto Sobis (Real Betis) were the other goalscorers.
