Angel Gomes started his first game for Boavista today, where he is on loan from Lille, and got off to a great start. He played a key role in the lead up to their first goal, before providing an outstanding assist for their second.
At half-time, Boavista were drawing 1-1 with Nacional.

Gomes spent 14 years at Manchester United before deciding against signing a contract extension due to lack of playing time in the first team. He left a heartfelt message to the fans this summer.
