The superb Mr.Rooney!
Not a classic but some observations:
Anderson is a great box-to-box midfielder;Fletch,Hargo and him will be Huge!
Carrick getting back to his best-but he is no Keano, he is Pirlo-esque and should be played as such to devasting effect with a defensive general.
Berba-what a goal..a moment of pure genius..wow!question though-can we play a front 3 of a poacher alongside rooney with berbatov just behind?
Feel sorry for Nani-not happy days..that door in January looms large..shame..

Typical Berba scores the hard chance and misses the easier chances, but he scored so im happy either way. Wasnt a great game today, Rooney had some nice touches and is still finding his form again. VDS looked good in goal from what i saw of the game. He took charge of the area and took control of the crosses when they cam in the box.

Oberton is goofy looking kid he has a very awkward style about him and he should have scored. Someone said he looked quality today i personaly though he looked very average playing on the left wing/midfield. Maybe it was nerves but i think we wont see him in the league games for a while yet until he settles down some, carling cup and the meaningless CL games are in his future.

All in all a good win and another 3 points in the bag.

What a fantastic goal from Mr Berbatov. Think even he enjoyed that one!

But still people on here will say he's shite!

Lovely finish from Waz too.

Berbatov's goal was quality. Glad Rooney's scored, good for him, hopefully he'll find his form again.

Ando and Carrick should be playing together more often, they were excellent. Carrick's at his best playing with a DMF and not alongside Scholes.

should have been 4-1, with Obertan and Owen missing and the offside goal actually being onside for blackburn

clean sheet though

Wonder goal from wazza he took it really well. berba what more can i say he is world class. like belfast77 said he scores hard goals but misses easy ones. for me in order for him to be a complete world class striker for me he needs to score easy and hard goals. he will soon after all he is an excellent striker and he plays for the greatest club on the planet! We are United!:-)

Obertan looked very good, beat his man with ease every time, unbelievable pace and good control. He looked like a bit of a headless chicken at first, but that will pass very quickly. He should've scored, and he's not known for being a great finisher, but neither was Ronaldo, and it hasn't taken us long to get Valencia scoring, has it? Obertan is very obviously not the finished article but his potential is obvious.

Owen looked so proud of Rooney after he scored. I like to see that.

Today we saw a glimpse of the class this squad actually does possess.

Berbatov´s goal was a cracker and typical of his skills.
Rooney´s goal was equally good and brilliantly done.

We should have had another two or 3 goals but the 3 points will do nicely.

The defence looked a lot better than against the dippers.

Looking forward to the United we saw today giving the rent-boys a hard time next weekend.
