In the summer of 2008, Guadalajara took on Barcelona in a pre-season friendly. The team that we had knocked out in the European Cup semi-final that year beat the Mexican team 5-2, but it was our very own Javier Hernandez, who had just turned 20-years-old, who scored one of his side’s goals.
