I don't want to put too much pressure on the lad, and hey, time will tell how great a player he is, but i can't deny I'm a little bit in love with this guy. I agree with Gudjohnsen - I think our counter attacking pace might just tear a few teams apart this season.

The key word is winter! How will he cope with the yellow ball and tough Premier league defenders..how will he do in winter...its a totally different type of football played than in summer and spring...he definitely has a nose for the goal and technique to match so I'll put my money on him!

i personally think rooney will now go back to playing slightly deeper, in the hole. think hernandez's pace will make opposition defences drop off another 5-10 yards, giving rooney and co more room to play make. agree with one of the comments, the last 2 transfer windows have been so disappointing, but his kid has me excited
