Mata has loads of talent but I think it’s sad to see him struggle. Today it became clear that Rooney is better player than mata. I think LVG may be tempted to play januzaj. I fear for his development. But he should be patient.

All in all pretty satisfied with our performance. We are improving and the best part is after a long time we are playing as a team.

Special thanks to de gea. He deserves all the praise.

Oh Mata who scored 8 in his last 10 and got an assist for Di Maria's goal. And Mata who was chelsea's best player for 2 seasons prior to that. Yeah something tells me struggling isn't the word that comes to mind. Quality player would be more accurate.

Mata was obviously off the pace today, but I think he was trying too hard. He seemed a little too hurried in his play and may have benefitted from being more selfish. Tried too many little lay-offs to teammates that weren't accurate. That said, it obviously worked for the Di Maria goal.

I think he is a quality player and has performed pretty well over the last few games, but today wasn't his day. He really needs to use the remaining 2 games of Rooney's ban to ensure stays in the manager's thoughts. I'd love him to grasp the opportunity with both hands.

it is obvious Mata does not like assisting goals he even looked confused after assisting Di Maria. Whenever Blind, Di Maria & Valencia had the ball and tried to find a pass in the middle up top - he disappeared and was actually running up towards the goal asking for a high ball forcing either Falcao or RVP to dropped off just to receive the pass

if he was of high quality no10 he would have at least created goal scoring chances not only Di Maria but for RVP, Falcao & Valencia as well - he did failed to connect a cross maybe he was caught up of either trying to score or passed to Falcao in the 1st half - a good/decent no10 not only score goals but also assisted & created many goals for their teammates

he looked indecisive - low on confidence maybe because LVG told him to try to assist more for his teammate - maybe he fear for his future at United

First 70 minutes were really good, but we need 3 goals a game coz the last 10 minutes are nervy as hell these days lol. The defenders all played really well to be fair, but when it's 2-1 and you have inexperienced players, there will be a bit of a heart in mouth period. Rafael and McNair particularly impressed me, as did Blackett when he came on.

I said a while back that Valencia in a midfield 3 would be a very useful option. He gives us that power and energy which we've not normally had, and something I don't think Fletch would have provided. Remember Mata and Blind aren't the most mobile either, so having someone with real legs was crucial, so good call by LVG I feel.

I probably wouldn't trust Valencia in a midfield 2 because he lacks the technical ability - but when he has guys like Blind and Di maria next to him it aint a problem. The way I see it he's a good back up for Herrera and also Rafael.

Falcao really needed that goal because he was starting to snatch at chances. The 2 he hit off target in the first half were really bad by his standards and there was also a wild mishit in the second half where he was lucky to get a corner. Hopefully this opens the floodgates for him.

All in all it's been a good couple of gameweeks for us - not just our wins but also some of the results around us.
