can't wait for him to be the part of our first team!
another prove that he was originally right side player.

What a player this could be!I always thought that Rafael had the better credentials. He is right footed apparently.I have said this before. The only reason he plays on the left is so that his brother could get a job!

Good lord we have an abundance of talent coming through, the future is looking good. They No.9 is italian we have another one thats as good.Does that new fifa rule mean that foriegn youth players are part of 5+6

does fabio play as a striker? always thought he was a left back... nice shooting by possebon aswell.

by the way: some annoying dippers fan was yelling on saturday in the pub after their first goal: "why don't you buy a new center back?" i think we don't need to, because we got some fabulous talent in the academy. just buying a new player would be the FSW-way...

Good player alright but it'll be a while before he gets near the first team regularly. He has very little positional sense yet he just runs around all over the place, very often leaving lots of space and the defence stretched. Eckersley looks better, composed and with great positional awarness, Fabio just seems to want to rely on his pace to get him out of trouble but that may not cut it at the highest level

Fabio was captain for Brazils under18 team that played in the youth world cup! He ended up being their top scorer for brazil in the comp! And also got awarded man of the tournament!

I think it was this comp that they both were spotted!

I think the timing is right! Evra will only want to stay for another 2 seasons or so! By that stage we can sell him for a good profit and fabio can slot straight in! I think raf will be our main right back next season!

Fullbacks games have changed dimensionaly! Ideal fullbacks for todays style of football and being most effective are the Evera or Bowsinga style! Great going forward ok defending!!

Scoopster - "Evra will only want to stay for another 2 seasons or so!"

I disagree mate as Pat loves United. I can see him being here for longer than 2 more years.

cracking player, reserves or not,it's not often you see a left full score a hat trick.

any chance he can give our attackers/midfielders some finishing practise??? starting with anderson!!!

lolx well said costas! I watched so many of anderson's early videos and wonder if he is the same anderson now, looks alot less flare than before yeah? maybe he needs to change his boots and also be more flamboyant to start scoring, i hope his scoring form will start when he finally does.

Fabio originally played as a striker when he was younger while Rafael played as a midfielder. They are both not one-footed as both can use both feet to good use. I think it's time for Fabio to get a crack at the first team and get his Premiership debut as for the last games or so,Evra has looked mentally and physically tired.

anderson8: Fabio played as left winger in that game.he is composed in front of goal & Anderson for one should learn it

Petrucci is mostly injured at present.Kiko Macheda & Petrucci r both class players.Fabio has an eye for goal & looks really settled on the left wing.i wud like to see both the Da Silvas on one side of the pitch.one at full back & other on the wing.

I think it would be great if United wrapped the title with2 or 3 games to go and then all the first teamers should be given a break. In their place would be the likes of Welbeck, Gibson, Eckersley, Fabio, Rafa, Possebon, Macheda, Tosic, Pettruci, to name but a few. Hopefully they would do the business and also make the 1st teamers realise that they cannot be complacent as these boys are after their job.

I hope Fabio and Rafael become top class by the time Evra and Brown's peak goes down...

Remmeber they both can play in the right and left possetion.
