Falcao is the best no. 9 in the world. No doubt about it. You just have to look the type of goals he scores. The reason he is few levels up the likes of RVP, Rooney, Suarez, Benzema, Costa et al as a pure no. 9 is he seems to have that connecting wavelength with the ball like two cell phones. Only he knows the right number and it's a sign of gifted player. Mind you neither falcao is typical tall (crouch type) player to score headers nor he can dribble past players like Di Maria. However, somehow all the 3 goals scored by Colombia was mainly by him and because of him in this match.

The other thing I like about Falcao is his enthusiasm. The guy can transmit it to fans and you can just feel it that he loves to score goals. He is no doubt a humble person judging by his interviews so far.

Overall a steal at £43 m. Just £13 m more than we paid for Luke Shaw.

Woodward sign him permanently!!!!

Personifies the term fox in the box, he really does come alive around the penalty area, best number 9 in the world indeed, he is so sharp it is unreal and the fact that he is only returning to his best from an ACL injury is incredible, that wasn't even that good a cross and Falcao turned it into a goal
