Chris Eagles highlight for United came when he scored our fourth in our 4-2 win over Everton towards the close of the 2006-2007 season, in a game which saw us go 2-0 down before leaving Goodison with three points.
Sadly, he never proved himself to be up to United’s standards, despite being given a go during August and September in particular last season.
He was up to the job tonight for Burnley though, with Sir Alex Ferguson watching in the crowd, claiming both assists in his team’s 2-0 win over Arsenal’s kids.
I wonder who Eagles will hoping Burnley draw in the next round, after already knocking out Chelsea and Arsenal…
