3 classy goals from Fletch, Obertan and Bebe plus a clean sheet away.
Great result, great to give some minutes to Obertan especially. Really thought Scholes could
have gotten sent off, but it all worked out perfectly.

Anyone have information on Fletch and Nani?

Not a lot. Nani is believed to have a groin problem, but could be fit for Wolves. Fletcher's was weird. I say rest them both against Wolves and have them ready for Shity.

Costas, Thanks for that. Agree about the wolves encounter. I would like to win both games. But the derby is definitely the preferred of the two and has to be the focus. I am sure that it is properly on the mind of our manager, and rightly so!

So now that's 38 goals in 17 games this season with Rooney scoring just once. 15 different goalscorers. Great stuff up front. Plus, this is the longest we've gone unbeaten at the start of the season since Fergie took over.

No problem. Fergie didn't know a lot about the injuries in his interview. Just that Nani has a groin problem and Fletch has an ankle problem. I am more concerned about the latter to be honest. Hopefully they will be ok for City. It would be fantastic if we won the next 3.

Great performance from the lads and another majestic performance from Scholesy. Obertan's starting to look comfortable and offers great pace going forward. Bebe's lightening quick, took his goal very well. Looks like we are starting to click into gear. Here's hoping for 3 points against Wolves at home on Saturday.

I think one should rightly praise all three goals for their superb build up play. A feast of football. Carrick to Fletch was just the appetizer, but still the end of some really nice attacking play. Park to Obertan was a delicious entre. Scholes to Bebe was the desert with chocolate sauce!

Questions: Did anyone get a good enough look at Bebes goal, one of the announcers was claiming it was off the defender. Hard to believe that it wasn't Bebes given the trajectory, but my feet was poor.

Best thing about today`s game was Carrick`s performance. MOTM. He's slowly finding his feet again. Hiis poor form at the beginning of the season was a real worry, I am chuffed he is now performing on a much improved level. Lets hope he keeps this up.

Hard to judge that performance, Bursaspor were awful, but you can only beat whats in front of you. Pluses, were Carrick, Obertan and Bebe, the negative was Berba. He needs to step it up again, because his early season form was his best since he joined.

Haven't seen the game, but it's a great result. Too bad about the injuries. I hope both Fletch and Nani are fine and it was just precotion. Can't believe that we are still not through. We need at least a point either from Rangers or Valencia. Hopefully we will crash Rangers and get over with it.

Berba was off tonight. He was out of touches couples of occasions and was offside for at least 4 times. He was awful, and never seems a threat. However I would give him the benefit of the doubt saying that because he was a lone striker tonight. I think he is most effective as a support striker and will never be a front man who leads the line.

For Obertan, he was completely out of touches in first half, but it's understandable because he has not been playing regularly. Completely transform in the second half and deserved the goal, though. I'm happy for him because it was important for his confidence in coming games as we need him as his best while Valencia recovering.

Bebe showed again he is still a raw talent and very inexperienced. Made some wrong decisions prior his goal. However, it was expected what he did. I think next season is the target for us to see the how good he can be. Of course, im happy for his goal as it will do nothing bad for his confidence.

Carrick had good game, but made couple of casual pass back to defense which lost to opposition. He needs to cut it off.

Smalling was immerse along side Vidic tonight :D

Park also came on and did real well for us too. No doubt he is as his best at the moment. A very different type of midfielder compare to Nani. He stretched out pretty well opposition's defense by his movement.

Anyone know whats wrong with Fletch? It seems like he twisted his ankle just a little bit there. Hopefully he'll be ok.

@Fze123 - FSW engineered this perfectly, you just can't see it. He let the team that were set up by Maureen last season do what they did last time against a slightly better average Spurs side for half of the first Inter v Spurs match, then let Spurs take the ball into their net for the last twenty minutes to give them hope. This was perfect because of what he needed to do - he realised United would win their group and Inter second if Spurs beat them in the second game with more goals against them on aggregate (5 for Inter, 6 for Spurs), giving Inter more of a chance to meet us and capitulate completely.

Well placed strike by Scholes!

Absolutely cracking goal by Obertan!

Bebe's goal, hmmm...... not convinced it wasn't an own goal by the defender. If you look at the goal camera angle, the defender;s foot appears to get to the ball prior to Bebe's foot. I've watched it at least 30 times and cannot convince myself that Bebe actually made contact with the ball. Regardless, he was in the right spot at the right time and did what he was supposed to do with the ball. No real complaints here.

Worried about Wolves now with Fletch and Nani out...Fletch injury is the biggest fear I've had since last year...no true cover for his role...maybe play JOS in DMF???

Carrick is crap shit, 1 good forward pass resulting in a goal doesn't mean jackshit against such lousy team. It was Obertan and Berbatov who pulled the defenders creating space for Fletcher's timely run. Even my nephew can do such a simple pass under that circumstance. Carrick was as usual making those same mistakes losing the ball while passing to defense. Sell him ffs!

@at hurs. He is really smoking. Carrick is returning to his best. The MOTM for me is schools, he made a totall number of 107 passes and only 7 goes astray. But i can't forget rafeal he did a very decent't job. Smalling was solid thanks to fergie for getting rio replacement. Obertan and bebe have a good game. Park did a good job. We all know that berba cannot play as a lone striker. I never doubted his ability as a striker and i will never be. Nani's injury has been a nightmare of mine since Valencia got injured. And against Wolves, we will need someone with something special to open them up. Hopefully Park, Obertan and Berba will provide that.

And the other worry is to make sure not to rush Nani back because his groin injury could get aggravated.

Watched our competion Valencia play Rangers - well impressed with Ever Banega the Argie centre midfield - only 22 and reads the game like a 27 year old.

Watched him as a 18 year old here in Canada in 2007 during the under 20 WC and he impressed me then even though Aguerro got the plaudits.

Would hope he is on our radar screen.

He did? Oh, no Ando then. So it's either Carrick-Gibson on Saturday or if there's no other choice, Carrick-Scholes. Which would probably mean that he would miss the City game.
