I love United but I fucking hate this song so much it makes me cringe everytime I hear it. If I was a ref and this was being sung it would certainly alter my decision making (on 50/50 decisions) in that game against united. Not only that, it sets us all up for a fall everytime something doesn't go our way, which is very often.

We should wrap up the 35 years clock and give it as a present to Shitty, and then in a really nice way congratulate them with their first trophy in 35 years. And just rub it inn, seing as this is their biggest feat in 35 years, and prolly will be the only thing they'll for years to come.

0161Jon - With you mate, dont like this song. It sounded good at away games but just doesnt have the same effect sung by seventy thousand in OT, most of them sat. We clearly dont do what we want as evidenced by recent FA decisions. No I aint a fan to be honest, its run its course.

Scan74 - the original was good but after a few times it always dies out, the new version can go on for as long as you want without an effort!

King Eric - hard to describe the tune mate but literally type in "from the banks of the Irwell, to Sicily" in YouTube when you get the chance and you'll see...it went on for ages in the away end at Blackburn.

I don't think the we'll do what we want chant had anything to do with ref's or anything when it first got sung by our away fans. Rather that they weren't served alcohol and created a mess! And then being labeled as hooligans or what not and that's where it was born i think. Not too sure though.
