Saw this yesterday. Top marks to Anton. A typically spot on effort.

Think the Frank Sinatra was a bit "over the top", but that's me. ;)

Broken in tears, really can't imagine myself watching any football games without feeling his soul on the touchline....

As a relatively young United fan (22 yrs) I can honestly say that no moment in football has made me feel so empty, he truly is the greatest legend our glorious club has ever known. I have seen legends depart (Keane, Beckham, Neville, Ronaldo, Irwin) but none of them made me feel the way the departure of the man himself has made me feel, it still hasn't truly sank in that the great Sir Alex Ferguson will no longer be berating officials and barking orders on the touchline, his smile that was indicative of the success of Manchester United will no longer be on the bench, I have never known anything but Sir Alex, he has been a constant in my life as much as the sky is blue and as much as Elizabeth II is the queen, it is something that I thought would go on forever, I thought he would outlive me. In honour of the greatest manager that ever lived I would like to wish him a long and happy retirement!

For those at the game Sunday. SEF have up dated the 25 year dream banner to say 26 and have added Fergies final trophy.

Nice touch.

I have seen 70% of the footage live or slightly delayed (tv that is since im half way across the world) and my tears when he retired will be nothing compared to when the man finally passes.

For those who don't know the context,

Take a close listen to that first quote on this video.

Alex: "Then we've got a real good chance"

What was Alex talking about? I'll pop in and see if anyone posts a correct answer! Ha! ;)

Fergie understood what it means to be a United fan. He defended the club with his life, stood up to everyone who dared to criticise our club, and bowed down to nobody - except The Queen when he received his knighthood.

The atmosphere at Old Trafford on Sunday will be incredible. as if lifting the trophy for the 20th time isn't enough, we'll be witnessing Fergie's last game at the ground, which is going to be hard to take in. And we'd better get there early on Monday night to hear his farewell speech and say our last goodbyes.

He knocked the Scousers off their perch and he made the vast majority of Mancunians happy and proud.
