what has really got me so angry tonight is that we have a player on the bench who is a far superior player in carlos tevez and we are carrying this donkey in berbertov who offers very little to the team look how van nistlerooy was in his last year, but what allot of people who were moaning all year that they were so desperate for a striker forget a phew things

1). we already had players upfront first choice ronaldo rooney tevez, if rooney or tevez were out we could play ronaldo upfront and have park giggs nani on the wings or even stick evra wide.

2). gone of the days of top class forwards behing rotated, ronaldo rooney tevez are too good to be rotated and unless there is a player like solkjaer out there then you don’t get another forward. You have to use midfielders to do a job upfront like it or not it is a cold reality.

and let's get to this myth united need a target man, what is the point having someone good in the air when United’s delivery from the wings at times is left allot to be desired, the way united are playing we may is well have two players of the height of rooney and tevez upfront.

Berbatov and Tevez are both superior to each other in different ways.
The problem is Fergie chooses to play Berba+Rooney at every opportunity, regardless of any other factors - which is obviously a massive mistake. He should choose the most effective forward line (and team!) based on the opponents we're facing that day.

Would some fans stop moaning about Berbatov! Write him off at your perril, he is a class player. He is settling in well and he suits our style of play. At the start of the season we did'nt even look like with Roo and Tevez. Now with the adition of Berba we have more dimension to out attacking play. Their is a section of United fans who will be eating their words at the end of the season.

Rick,i agree that Berbatov is definitely a class player.he's been a wonderful addition to the squad.but as Michael and Tornados are saying, that doesnt mean he should start every bloody game!!!Berba has been so ineffective against the top 4 teams and many other games, where his "cool demeanor" leaves him isolated and leaves the team in a bind.there are many times when carlitos should be starting alongside rooney, where we need that pace, trickery and energy upfront.i understand SAF's point of giving him as much as many games as possible to fit him in the team but doing this week in week out will only lead us to our own peril.i hope you and SAF realize that sooner or later.there have been many times this season where our play has been too direct and predictable - oh,just pass it to berba and he'll flick it on to someone else.thats why we havent been scoring consistently.we need the return of the 4-2-4 formation - roooney,tevez,ronaldo,nani/park coming right at defenders gung-ho.thats when we'll be scoring for fun. UNITED FOREVER!

Mick and Tornado or whatever your names are, lighten up and concentrate on your day jobs. Fergie is Fergie and you are , by the way, who are you?

So tired of you Saturday night quaterbacks - you have no clue and that's understandable causeyou don't know this game and it is vividly displayed with every word that you type. Get a grip and enjoy the ride or not!!!

I think people are missing the point here. The best pairing we have is Tevéz / Berbatov. Both players are pure class and both make a lot fewer mistakes than Rooney. Don't get me wrong, Rooney is awesome, but he seems to get into the team mainly on reputation (and because he spends a lot of his time at full back!!). Tevéz was our best player before Berbatov's arrival and it seems he's not getting a fair chance to build a partnership with Berbatov - who I think will go on to be a legend.

I don't know what johnpanda's talking about since I've always found that Rooney's the one who makes things happen for us. Don't get me wrong I love berbs and tevez as well but rooney's the best suited to united's style. Tevez is the one who gets in the tam through sheer hard work rather than actual skill, rooney combines hard work with skill and I don't really need to explain that berbs is pure skill. So I feel berbs and rooney are our best partnership on the whole but tevez has his moments especially against hard to break down teams like sunderland today.
