That pen from Nani is one of the best pen's i've ever seen! Unstoppable....

Yeah it was immense, he didn't even take a huge run up. Dunno if he'd have the confidence to try that in a real game though!

he took a similar one in the 08 champs league final... with him and ronaldo being so good maybe portuguese is the new german when it comes to penalties?

loss aint a big issue but to me what matters is the way we dominated the proceedings ,played better football ,created lethal chances, looked more a team when we attacked.......and i believe that is enough to prove the critics wrong when we lift trophies next year without any major investments or "replacements" ......saf is god........glory glory man united

Anthrax -- You and I must have been watching different matches there homes, because the in the one I watched, United by no means dominated proceedings, didn't even come close. Dare I say that in the first half especially, we were the ones who were dominated.

who thinks nani would be a worthy replacement for ronaldo becasue looking at the skill, confidence and sheer quality of him in this game makes me think if he can keep it up he could be just as good.

Nani's pen was a cracker, but what I noticed was how good the TV coverage was of the shoot-out, all that fluid camera movement and positioning from further back behind the kicker, then moving in.

Giles - Hope you are well old boy. I have to disagree I thought the camera work for the whole match was diabolical. Kept panning out into space , then silly angles and then missing chunks of play altogether.

I've said it before lads. I think the midfield is lacking at the very top level.
Looking at Barcelona's midfield and comparing it to our own.
I don't think we have world class midfielders like Barcelona do.
I don't know. I took a bashing when I said this before.
