Manchester United kicked off their pre-season tour of the USA with a game against LA Galaxy, who are in the midst of their domestic season.
Ahead of the game, Jose Mourinho claimed he wasn’t expecting to see anything “extraordinary” from the players who were tired following four intense days of training.
However, United put in a great shift, going in 3-0 up at half-time and finishing the game 5-2.
United first half: De Gea, Valencia, Jones, Smalling, Blind, Carrick, Herrera, Fellaini, Lingard, Mata, Rashford.
United second half: J. Pereira, Tuanzebe, Lindelof, Bailly, Darmian, Fosu-Mensah (Mitchell 85), Pogba, A. Pereira, Mkhitaryan, Martial, Lukaku. Subs not used: Romero, McTominay.
