Norwich has confirmed their place in the Premier League for next season so what better time to reminisce on a meeting between our two clubs from the first Premier League season.

Playing at Carrow Road, United went 3-0 up within the first 20 minutes, thanks to three superb goals from Giggs, Kanchelskis and Cantona.

Mark Robins, the man who “saved Fergie’s job” (but didn’t actually, apparently) scored a consolation goal for our opponents after signing for them for £800,000 at the start of that season.

Norwich went on to finish 3rd that season whilst United claimed our first title since 1967.
