Scored on his United debut at OT v Blackburn
Scored on his first United start v Forest

Scored the most important goal in the history of EPL era Manchester United v Bayen Munich.

He's a proper red legend for me.

Legend, no doubt about that. But every player that took part in the 98/99 season has a special place in my heart.

Speaking of tributes. Roma fans paid a big tribute to George Best with two HUGE banners. RESPECT to them!!! RIP George Gone but NEVER forgotten.

Also RIP to Dave Sexton. True football man and one time manager of Manchester United in the 70s. Condolences with his family as they mourn his death.

Danny, I'm thinking that Roma poster was from 2005, the year he passed. I know it's been going around the tweets, but looks a bit dated. Nice at the time, ofcourse.

Legend as a player and who knows what kind of United manager he would make one day if he ever was given that opportunity.

You just know this guy would bleed United and be worthy to make sure the Fergie way carries on.

Perhaps not straight away but in a few years - if he continues to do well - I can see him being a big hit with fans.

Well, that was nine minutes from my life that was truly well-spent. Many thanks.

OGS is my choice for the next UTD manager - the guy has a golden touch and he bleeds red.

Legend, period

The fact that he had a part in 3 generations of title winning teams says alot about him. The Cantona era, the treble era, and the start of the Ronaldo era
