Well, here we go!!!
A win though rusty after the 27th May humiliation is soothing.
Owen scoring makes it all the more better.
I've got a feeling that this former Liverpool boy will help us get to No. 19

To be fair, that's good finishing from a striker even though it's against Malaysia. But he looks a bit breathless after he scored that goal =) good start from him, hope there's many more to come!

27 secs in. Commentator seems to have a go at Owens body odour then even more curiously Owen needs to have a wee sneaky sniff just to see if he really is stinky Owen.

!!!!

Yep.

Nice goal...Hopefully the first of many...Anyone who watched the match give a decent review of it??

OFF topic:The kit does not look too good... :(

Regarding the kit, it is growing on me, I like the red stripe in the shorts, it reminds me of the 'Old Trafford' 'Theatre of Dreams' kit from 97 i think - the one with the badge in the middle, and immortalised by 'that' Cantona goal.

Anyone else quite excited by Tosic - just a hunch.

i watch that game...actually, ManUtd didnt play very well due to some reasons such as jet lag, humidity, temperature,n tiredness..after nani's goal, i thougt t would be goal fest there, but united just do some possession football..after malaysia equalized, united couldnt find their best to create some chances..luckily,owen scored a winning goal in 85 mins.. but what i see here, im not so sure we r well equipped for this season...we need sumplayers who can create some chances just like ronnie did, another AM or playmaker..Owen showed he got goal instinct in that game, i observe he only got 1 chance n he scored d goal..n berba, he seems still d same as last season, im not so sure he could be like what bryan robson said few days ago..i hope there will be some improvement soon...

A goal-scorer's goal - and THAT's why he was signed !

Good reports on Nani, too. He must have been practising his back-flips because the new guy, Mame Diouf, can really get height on his jumps.

Bring Beckham in and there is no way anybody will win the 19th Premiership win away from Manchester United. Why? ... Because is a Manchester United supporter to the core.

It might take a freebie to show 30 million dollars where the goal is.

I feel like he will put away so many second and third chance opportunities unlike this past season, more to come especcially vs the dippers!

herdino - relax man, don't forget it was our FIRST pre season game. In addition Carrick and Valencia were both missing who would probably have created a few chances.

Thought Pat looked good first half. Tosic showed glimpses and seems a bit bulkier now. Was it me or did Nani look a bit bigger as well?

I actually rate Gibbo when he plays in the centre. Some of Scholesy's passing was shocking today.

Berba at times looked quality as did Rooney but that goes without saying.

Chuffed for Owen and for those saying he didn't look happy to score, none of them did really. After all it is only a friendly.

Good poacher's goal, that. Shows the goalscorer's instinct is there for sure, the anticipation and sharpness are there too.

does anyone think that nani will do better if played as a striker? i mean the guy almost never passes but has a really good shot on him.... and always finds the net.....
