It's only pre-season sure, but doesn't Fergie look like a fucking genius? Owen is going to get a huge haul this season. And Berba is pure class, I know his game is going to step up this year.

Fortunately the archives show that I've championed Berbatov from day one, and also called out that cunTevez for the second-rate player that he is. So it is satisfying for the evidence to confirm this so that the 'Fergie Fergie sign him up' brigade now have no choice but to finally shut it.

Now we can all laugh at the Bitters when they realized that they've spent £25 mill on a tosser with a worth first touch than the Yorkshire Ripper and no composure in fron of goal, while we watch Berbs take out five defenders with an effortless flick or slot home a pin-point header at the near post as he did in the last game.

The Bitters can welcome as many mercenaries as they want to "Manchester" -- but they'll never be able to welcome them to a trophy winning footbal club.

For the new season, I think I'm going to change my user name to Berbatov's Touch.

Berbatov absolutely sublime in this match. The take down for Tosic's goal, the flick for Owen's, the return for Nani's, Tevez can only dream of doing such moves... wait, he'll probably even have trouble in his dreams to replicate such moves!

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that he has a big grin on his face when he sets up a fellow player and looks a bit embarrassed.

Sublime skill from him, I haven't seen anyone in the world pull a ball out of the air as he can, Mr Velcro boots.

One thing he needs to speed up a bit when we counter attack IMO.

Can't think of many players in the World who have the repotoire of Berbatov when it comes down to backheels,flicks and split second through balls.That is why SAF paid 30million.

Sorry meant to include in last post that Nani looks like he feels he can express himself more. Hopefully the sale of Ronaldo will take some of the pressure of the younger players. He was too expressive with his disappointment at a misplaced pass and that can hammer the confidence of players like Anderson and Nani. Wenger sold Henry for the same reason.If the younger players step up a level this season then the future looks red with a big 'V' across it's chest.

There something different bout Berba, he's more energrtic it seems, he always had class and deft touches but now he is working on becoming a better team player and it's a joy to watch.

I like how Sir Alex hasn't tempered with the team too much, just a few signing to compliment the core that is already present.

WOW what a touch from berba and a sublime finish from Owen. No doubt he could be top scorer for us next season, if played in every game.

However, I'd like to mention Nani's form. I believe his confidence levels are going up, and he's really looking good. Setting up goals and scoring himself. It's important. Watch him go this season.

Flagged @ 20:37 What's different about Berbatov this year is that he can play his game, and not be Ronaldo's butler. Same should go for Rooney. Both were reined in by SAF to funnel the ball/scoring opportunities to CR7; but, that's the past then, innit ? Barring injuries, most of Ronaldo's goals will be "replaced" by a different style of play.

SAF's ace-card/trump is going to be KikoTheKid - if he's as good as we are being led to believe then the strike force will be better balanced and the midfield will be tighter. Nani, Tosic, and Valencia will provide a new spark from the wing, too.

Back to the future ?

We all sang on the transfer deadline day but then a lot of people were quick in saying flop signing..I always thought stats say everything and according to stats Berbatov had a more than decent season last year..

I cant wait for the league to start. Owen has proved a lot of people wrong again and I still strongly believe United will be better than last year. We are more a team now.

Have you seen Nani..Saw glimpses of brilliance in the boy.. The sort of thing we saw i CR7 when he starting being less selfish and doing the job rather than showing off..
