There was an exchange of words between Jose Mourinho and Paul Pogba on the Manchester United training ground following our defeat against Derby last night.
Mourinho had seen a video that Pogba had posted on Instagram of him laughing in the stands during United’s loss. The manager asked the club press officer John Allen when it had been posted. Due to the lack of signal inside the ground on matchday, the Instagram live story didn’t go up until after the game, leading the manager to believe Pogba had been laughing about the result.
The manager has since asked Allen to apologise to the player for the misunderstanding.
