unless he is playing with united fans minds i think that is the clearest indication that he knows he's got it good at old trafford and the grass isnt always greener in spain (it probably is with all that sun but you get the point).

oh and i'd like to see some variation in the free kicks tonight from him.
surely he has the skill and craft of mind in him to fool people with a clip free kick or a beckhamesque curler rather than go for power every single time.
Or am i expecting too much from the world player of the year??

quad, true enough but majority of his free kicks go straight into the wall.
granted when he gets it right then theres no doubt they are probably the best hit free kicks around at the minute.
i just think a bit of varity could fool a goalkeeper and we'd all be drooling over his 'genius' that he'd just fooled all of us?

why not try it now LUKE?
on the biggest stage with the world watching him, he thrives on that!

its not like it would be a terrible risk to try one would it?
im sure he practises different types of free kicks in training(who wouldnt) when he trains 5-6 days a week.
difference with becham was majority of his free kicks most of the time he actually got it past the wall so he didnt need to try something different, as i said with ronaldo the majority of his gominto the wall

Ha, saw that on Sky last night was very funny and a nice surprise to see Ronnie so candid and takin the piss out of himself somewhat. Apparently there is more tonight on the build-up.

i'd rather he stuck with his tried and tested method for tonight..then he can practise them all he likes during the summer

but the point i was tryin to make is that no matter how good a player is it doesnt mean that he can do anything...the reason beckham is so lauded at his free kick taking abilities is because very few people can do it...its not something u learn at that age..u either have it or you dont

and yeah he blasts a few into the wall but its the same with every free kick taker in the world..you score less than half of what you take (except for maybe Juninho who is/was immense !)

came down a bit strong u before..bloody tension ;)

you know what im saying though, those players with a bit of extra magic (i would class ronaldo as magic) to them can always take us by suprise. like zidane with the free kick everyone thought he was going to clip over the wall (his usual trademark) and instead he knew the wall was going to jump so what does he do? he passes the ball under neath the with hardly any power into the corner of the net.. genius.
we're all feeling the tension luke, my asshole is twitching like a bunny rabbits nose.

Looks like nothing, there were just a few pictures of him having his ankle strapped yesterday. didnt look to be in any discomfort, so really dont think its a concern at all. It's just people wanting to right another story about Ronaldo....
