We'ce been blessed with some fantastic build up play this week. Just when I thought that Nani's pass against Milan was brillinant, Berbatov came up with a beautifull assist of his own today.

Brilliant game - unfortunate not to score in the first half, but patience paid off. For me MOTM=Berba.
Apart from one or two katatonic moments, the defence neutralised Fulham completely.

And those one-touch moves (both today and on Wednesday)? Magic.

SAF said that Rafa got injured in training and Evans felt his knee and he didn't want to risk them. They will be ok for Liverpool. And O'Shea will return to training in 2 weeks!

BjOlav @ 18:09 "MOTM=Berba".

I AM NOT WORTHY ? With apologies to Scott and EricTheRed for doubting your judgement.

Actually, I thought that this was the very best game I have seen from Dimmy in a red shirt.

What struck me as interesting (i.e., worthy of comment) was the positioning of WayneRooney and Berbatov, who were usually apart from one another with Rooney playing further forward. It seems that SAF has figured out that he can get the best out of WayneRooney by playing him further forward and by "allowing" Dimmy to be in the hole, so as to benefit from his ball-control skills.

If that's right then it sure looks to be a dynamic duo - and the wingers weren't too shabby either in creating a lot of wide possession which further stretched the defence and thereby benefitted the two central strikers by "de-jamming" the middle of the opposition penalty area.

Did VDS have to make a real save ? He was very, very well protected by "the foundation" - Rio and VIdic - which was extremely strong. Although, Rio and Vidic were hardly challenged - with two notable exceptions - for the whole match since Fulham were playing soft and hoping for something from a counter-attack. The usual park-the-bus opposition strategy.

Denton; i had noticed that as well regards to Berb and Wazza seemingly swopping roles .... seems to be working very well as Wazza is playing like a fricking demon....

I love the way when Rooney scores he gives credit to those who created the goal for him.
He appreciates his team mates around him. He is a proper team player.
Ronnie was more interested in personal glory which annoyed me somewhat.
Well done Wayne! Only 10 more goals to go to equal Ronnie. You can do it.

What happened with Scholes? He was warming up today and on the electronic team sheet but was replaced with Corry Evans?

Wooahh cannot get used to this new design!

Cheers Willie, it certainly does, I cannot get my swede around it.

Heres a stat. United have won their last seven home games, scoring 30 + goals and conceding ONE.

Toms @ 19:41: "Damn hull. Myhill should be euthanized for letting in such a pathetic goal."

Look at Myhill again when he is squaring up to the first shot - the ball seemed to be knuckling ferociously and he was hand-cuffed by its movement. That said, it was a real downer - three more minutes and TheArse would have been choking on their own vomit.
