Fuckin brilliant advert. best in a while
I can actually see those headlines 'england roo-in it' if the fuckers get knocked out regardless of it being a team effort. if england disappoint sorry mean when england disappoint they'll blame our rooney even if he scores 10 goals and he'll go on to become the scapegoat of the country resulting in him becoming the worlds best player :-) i can see it now lol
or picture this one england v portugal and nani wins a pen for his side the win and ronaldo deja vu all over again :-) without all the only god knows the future crap .
or maybe even vidic tackling lampard fairly but putting him out the rest of the wc...
Well you can see where i'm going with all this right, Englands scapegoat is gonna come from our team yet again, sigh bring on august

Well put together ad.
Don't like them Papers 'England In Roo Ins' How to put the countries hopes on the shoulders of one player, like it or not though its going to be the case. If England fail then I can hear the Boos now.

Yeah like Wayne would ever give the ball away to fuck face Ribery

The fact that he already tempted fate when he did an own goal for Bayern's free kick (however you could argue what was Gary doing trying to replicate Michael Jordan : )

And subsequently never got an opportunity to rectify that mistake although he did start that CL clash at home...

Bullshit never strikes twice - expect the best player in the world to get even better next year : )

In Wayne we trust!

As for Ronaldinho

What a lost soul he is - I wonder if he ever thinks - what if he got to OT?

As for Ronaldo

He can fuck off and have his dream after 250 million spent

But just sometimes there is that moment inside that wonders why the fuck did he walk away when he knew he would be not offered the stability and guidance he got here

His part of the advert confirms everything about him

Self - interested - brilliant player - self motivated - and when it clicks he is brilliant - and when it doesn't...

No one here wanted to begrudge his dream - for once I think we were all prepared to let him go

It's just he didn't have the respect for the club - at the end he will be United's ultimate love affair and biggest break up

Fantastic stuff, except for the Ronaldinho part. Nike must be gutted after paying him only to see him not going to the world cup, haha. Don't they have any other player for Brazil contracted to Nike? Ronaldinho is history.

As a student of media and communication, we study quite a lot on film techniques, as well as the build up of a commercial. Have to say this is one of the most epic commercials i've ever seen. They've played on the whole register, the newspapers, youtube, celebrations in other sports etc etc. When it comes to commercials, especially football, Nike really is second to no one.

Also, i shat myself laughing of Waynes beard! Rooney, if you read this: grow one, will you please?

Hey guys , I'm a big man Utd fan from Saudi Arabia . I just got one question for u guys , i wish somebody would answer me : Why do You hate England sooo much even though You're english ?!!!!
I mean that's realy really strange , shameful ....
There was an incident where the english fan boooed Scholes ( which was a disaster IMO because He's a one , England can ONLY dream of these days to be honest !) ?? but is that it ???
I mean if everyone supports their clubs , who is gonna support your national team ?
------------
thanks,,,

Notice Paddy Evra marking Theo Walcott. The best left back in the world marking mr 1 dimension himself. Even if Rooney made that pass, no end product from Walcott

@Sultan

You just gave the answer to your question. Alot United fans don't like England precisely because of that, so called "fans" booing their own players. Notice the difference between United fans and fans of other clubs at England games? We do not boo players from rival clubs like they do to us on a regular basis, for no good reason at all. Add to that the FA, who have royally screwed us on a regular basis with no justification at all, and when we try to talk nice to them, they say we are frivolous

Now THAT is a footy ad. Anyone notice Patrice making a little cameo in there? Also good to see that Rooney features the most in the ad? And I have to think the Ronal-d'oh! himself had a lot of say on his portion haha
