GR8 goal from Roo and class build up. England fans cheering because they are up 1-0 in the first 10 minutes. Didn't have time to get pissed. Good goal from Adam Johnson. Ashley was crap.

Who knows, maybe Engerlund fans will like Roo better that he has some dirt on him. More like the rest of the set up :>
Anyway, to follow up on a post above, Cleverly can't be used in this game. He was involved in the U21 match today. Agree the midfield is looking slow.

No surprise to hear the scum chant "ROONEY ROONEY" , they'll get back to booing him and calling him a fat cunt next week and after. Until the next England game comes along of course.

Well in Wayne, lets hope you get one against Everton

It took Rooney just 10 minutes to bag it, put it to bed, shoot, score, 1 up, excellent, nothing but admiration for him. Oh and top of that he got a goal tonight. lol

willierednut, you must be enjoying yourself or pulling our leg.
i. Foster and Carrick, yup been fighting for a spot in engerlund set up for years. Sadly, the past 2-3 managers seem uninpressed.
ii. Queiroz is on holiday for 6 months, can't be blamed for Portugal's misdeeds 2night.

0 for 2, so what is it? You pulling our leg, or is the beer flowing for you !)
In any event, Cheers 2 yuz ! I will have whatever your havin ;)

awesome to see wazza score. let's all get behind him and not judge what he does off the pitch. he is a human being and makes mistakes like all of us. anyone who wants to judge him obviously has no idea about themselves. it's easy to hammer someone else and forget about yourself... wazza if she wants out then move on. give her whatever money she wants, resolve it quickly and start again. you are a young lad and there is more to come from you

I watched the England U-21 game today and I must say our Danny ran himself to death. It was great to see and on another day he could have scored 4 or 5. I know the opposition weren't exactly Brazil but he was still impressive.

As was Cleverly, but I expect nothing less from him! I'm not sure exactly why Pierce subbed him off and left the useless Danny Rose on... Oh well.

Smalling did well also. Its 3 clean sheets in a row for his partnership at the back with that Blackburn defender. He looks calm and composed at this level, and then when I've seen him for United he just looks kinda nervous and skittish. Except for maybe the Carling Cup. Oh well, early days.

Just saw that Scott already had a post about this a bit further down the page... I should have known by now that he would have it up in a flash.

Oh and KE, Jordan Henderson is a very good player. He ran the show today

And people going on about Adam Johnson.... he is a good player, but I have absolutely no doubt that Evra can and will have him in his pocket, and will make it look easy. I've heard comparisons of Johnson with Giggsy before but that is absolute bollocks. A slap in the face to a true legend
