people need to realise Nani is mainly right footed, he can't put in first time crosses of that quality when he plays on the left, and he is a confidence player.. I'm not one to tell the manager what to do but please please give the guy a run of games on his favourite side, then he will have the confidence to play well anywhere on the pitch...

BUT you have to accept that he will sometimes do things that frustrate us, that's because he's brave enough to try things that others would not - that's what makes players like him and Berbatov so exciting...

Staff Red - Yeah plenty on sale , that's where I got mine. But I have to say some of the colours were a bit dodgy. Some were much different greens and golds/yellows!

@Wakey...You appear to be the only other voice to mine trying to bring balance to the Glazer refinancing issue. (Read my four posts under Scott’s”Fergie Pie Selling” blog)

My main point is that the financial condition of the club has improved significantly over the last week (succeful bond issue lowering the interest payments and an new airline sponsor) and while the way the current owners bought the club is far from great why has all this broken out now?

The only answer I have for that is that there’s a lot of powerful interests out there who want to unsettle, distract and ultimately destroy MUFC. (Top of that list for me would be middle eastern oil money but all the ABU’s and the outdated socialist agenda of those behind MUST.) Sad thing is they’re all using our own fans to help achieve that goal.

My trust is built in one man Sir Alex Ferguson and if he says he’s got all the money he needs and that “he’s no complaints whatsover about the Glaziers”….and as far as he’s concerned … “they’ve been terrific owners” ..that’s good enough for me!!!

Lads,
Just got back have been out partying, well being bored round my wifes friends house if i was accurate talking to her husband who is a know it all but really knows fuck all type!

Could someone do me a favour and let me know what the Glazer Protests are about or come from.. Have they done something that i miss?

how i look at it is that they bought the club, I couldnt do anything about it. Wastnt happy but said i was going to judge them on how they ran the club! For me they seem to have done everything that they said they would! Prices have went up a little i guess for the Matches, on comparison to Chelsea, Tottenham, Arsenal, Liverpool.... Are the prices that high??

Ok, so the club realisticaly are in debt, but with the club being valued at 1.2 billion and they have 800 in debt its not a portsmouth situation really! So whats the problem!????

The moment the Glazers start to act like hicks and pricks who own liverpool i couldnt care less who runs the club! If Our ticket prices are reasonably good. If Fergie or who ever is managing the teams gets a good transfer budget great. They havent let us down so far have they??????

What good can these demonstrations do? Fuck all if you ask me!

Fergie has openly stated that they glazers have been fantastic, we all say in fergie we trust do we think he would lie?........... i dont think for one minute fergie would lie! If he wasnt given what he needed or even more so promised i think he would call it a day!

Some people moan about this bond thing!... For christ sake, fair play to them. They have a debt we all know about they are doing something about it!......... Hicks and pricks have promised Liverpool fans for a couple of seasons that this coming summer they are going to spend big.... What happens every year ........ they fucking dont!.... HAHAHA...............The Glazers havent done that to us!........ They have stays well out of the running of the club, you dont hear much about them what so ever!

Fergie still looks in control as far as i can see!........... We dont have a sugar daddy like Roman Abramabastard..... Or Sheik shit towel head......... We have a family of business men who understand to keep the revenue return they must keep sucess and to do that you ahve to spend!

Lads.. in fergie we trust! THe moment he starts questioning the glazers then lets help him! Until then, support your team!

I think the main concern is the Glazers £175m of loans that they are personally responsible for and which acrue interest at an annual rate of 14.25%. The fear is that the Glazers are running the club to generate funding for their struggling real estate business in the States and not for the future (long term at least) of Manchester United. These personal loans were borrowed from American hedge funds and if the club’s financial performance deteriorates below a certain level then the hedge funds have the right to appoint their own directors to the board. If this were to happen then they could very possibly make strides to recoup their cash by selling assets such as OT, Carrington, Players etc. As these Americans have no affinity to Manchester United, or even aware of our history, they wouldn't think twice about doing this. The bond issue has given the glazers breathing space and in the short term, yes, everything looks fine. But the reason for the protests is because these threats are very real in the long term and most United fans do not want to see their team destroyed. To find evidence of this threat you only have to look at the Glazers other club, The Tampa Bay Buccaneers....!! Yes, In Fergie we ALL trust....In Glazers we dont!

@trevor , totally agree with you mate. whats the fuss about glazers actually ? Have they done something wrong ? I know that United are in debt, but that's the side business of it. none to do with our football innit ?
as long as they let SAF in charge of our team, then everything is fine. Just because SAF have not been spending money for players to come in, doesnt mean that the glazers are not providing him the money. SAF dont buy, cause he thinks that we already have a good squad who can really win the club trophies. Remember lads, we're not Real Madrid, Chelsea or Shitteyh, we dont need to buy players at such a high price. Maybe we used to, like Veron, Rio, Berba, but that was then. It happens like once every 5 seasons. And the market are not like it use to be either, thanks to those 3 clubs that i just mention above. Even SAF said that earlier this season.
I thought so far, the glazers have been doing exactly what SAF wants them to do. As long as SAF is fine with them, then why would we be against them ?

Everybody loves SAF !

The Glazers did what they promised? Fucking hell, can we stop pretending that the last three years of success were down to the Glazers in any way.

It isn't like they came in and saved a club dying on its feet. They came in, saddled it with insurmountable debts, and Fergie continued to do his job. That they happened to be in charge at the time is in no way a reflection on their running of the club.

The figures make for grim reading. How you can possibly sugar coat them is inconcievable. A bonds issue? Gee whiz, really?! How awfully kind of them. We now get to be at the mercy of hedge funds. You know, the same hedge fund companies that collectively contributed towards a world recession? The ones who've a history of helping to cripple the financial structure of small, helpless countries? Sweet!

If MUST is pursuing an outdated socialist agenda, this club's at the mercy of an outdated capitalist agenda.

Bebeto .... as I you revealed in another post you made ....you don't trust Fergie. Right? So when he says they have been "terrific owners" when he says that he isn't buying because "there's no value in the market not because of the owners" you don't belive him.

Do you believe at 68 he's not interest in his legacy he's only interested in coating his pockets? Or maybe it's that he's an naive old man who needs to retire 'cause he doesn't know what's really going on.

Whatever your reason is ....I don't care if your a capitilist, socialist of f*cking communist .....your not UNITED if you don't trust Fergie.

Bebeto ...I've nothing to reveal but you have. You say you've faith in Fergie but when he says he has no problem with the owners ... you don't belive him! When he says "forget the ownership issue and get behind the team ... you say ...."let's protest"

So what you reveal is your duplicitous.

Bebeto... if you really love UNITED forget all this protest crap and get behind the team. Cheer them on to four in a row, another Carling Cup and a CL final in Madrid! Believe me...that would probably but the value of our global brand at a about 2 Billion and dwarf the Glazer debt!

how does scholes do it? what a rocket!

hopefully SAF will realise that nani needs to be played on the right to get the best out of him.. i remember recently he was on the left, he cut back and crossed in a perfect ball with his right foot between two defenders.

i always knew nani was the 'right' man for the job ;D

Morning everyone.

One thing about the Glazers. No one is saying that they are not trying to get rid off the debt or that that they are bad owners when it comes to running the club. We are just saying that they bullied their way into our club while we never needed them. And now we are left worrying about issues, the once richest club in the world should never had to worry about.

They have been terrific when it comes to Fergie. They never interfered in his business and why should they? Why would anyone do that when they have the best manager ever at the helm?

Anyway, onto footballing matters. Despite the losses of Ronaldo and Tevez, this is still a very prolific season for us. With 53 goals in the league(after 23 games) and 71 goals in total(after 35 games), this is still one of our best seasons attacking wise in the last 15 years.

Of course that's just numbers. We have drawn a few blanks too. Especially in games with rivals. That's something that has to be addressed, because at the end of the day 4-0 or 1-0 against Hull is the same thing.

Our defesive record (with 30 in 35 games) isn't that impressive though. WIth Rio and Nemanja(in 2 weeks) back, hopefully we will get many of clean sheets.

@GHTT

Yeah, the goal difference was a bonus, although we still need to go one better than Arsenal, since they will probably score more than us. I hope the other two start feeling the pressure. They don't have easy games from now on, but neither do we. It could be too much to ask, but I hope both Birmingham teams cause Arsenal and Chelsea to drop points this week.

A friend of mine has come up with a great scrave twirling song that could get the house rocking.

" Viva United Viva United wont give up the fight till Glazers out of sight Viva United"

Spread the word everyone, fill all boards and forums with this tune it would be class if everyone in the ground got onto it.
