For me, the moment of the game was Anthony Valencia's LEFT-FOOTED pass to WayneBoy that set up the second goal. That moment just underlined that "We're UTD and we do what we want".

In the first half, Valencia was outstanding and although his influence lessened in the second half - was he playing deeper, as a central midfielder ? - his return is a huge booster-rocket to UTD's charge.

Having Valencia evolve into a two-footed player is a gigantic addition to the team's versatility which is, at the end of the day, one of the keys to how SAF can mix-and-match his players as opposed to the rigidity of some other so-called genius.

Talk about having the greatest day of your life. First you see the greatest football team on the planet again produce a come back from 2-0 down to win it 4-2 which I always knew would happen. Then your country go on and win the fucking world cup. And as you are celebrating that victory on the streets, you hear that Chelsea and Arsenal have drawn their games. It most certainly is the greatest day of my life.

Sorry for the off-topic but I just had to say that. I love each and every one of you and I am high, not from drugs, but from having that sort of a day.

The movement for the second was spot on. But let's be honest, the attach was excellent all game.
Think we had 60-70% of the ball in both halves. Hammers were never going to score from open play, not in a million years. Ref was OK, 2 doggy pens, one for each side. No complaints about the first pen. Don't know what Pat was thinking. So the story of the first half was that our defense just let us down a bit. The story of the second half was having 6 forwards on the park. The manager was brilliant putting Giggs at left back. Tell me who in the entire world would say right, we are pulling Patty Evra and thinking old Giggsy will do the job at RB. Bet you a fiver Mikey Phellan spit his coffee when he heard that. But it really settled everyone. That changed the game and the hammers were crappin themselves dealing with the onslaught. All credit goes to WR10. A hat trick away. That is a rare enough sight. But to get one from a free kick (might be the first this season???) then the touch on the second, and finally a marvelous pen. A truly exceptional preformance from WR10.
Right, we have 4 lads in double digits for goals, Arse have one.
Arse have 8 to go only 3 at home. They are 7 back and could have lost today if the ref didn't drop Burn to 10. Venger all but conceded in his post match
Chaves have 8 to play and 5 at home. They are 9 back and still a possible contender because of the number of home games.
We have 7 to go, 4 at home, including home v Chelsea and away to the Arse.
I rather fancy us.

Get stuck in!!!

King Eric, caught my own typo but you corrected it first. Good man!
I think CSKA landon will have a go for second. Don't think they will catch us unless the wheels come off the bus completely and the FA ban half our team.
Still, I rather like our chances if we just need a point on the final day and we have naught but our reserve players v Blackburn at home. Ha ha ha. Would just love it if SAF sent out the reserves on the final day. Honestly, I would be howling with praise of the man! That would stick it to the FA and their RESPUCK campaign!

Well, that's it. all over bar the shouting.
In this run-up the games I feared most were WHU away and Blackburn away.
Arsenal in London and Chelsea at OT will bring out the best of UTD - I'm confident of beating Chelsea and stopping Arsenal from winning at the Emirates.
The big question now is which game will confirm the 19th win. Would love it if it was after sticking 6 past Terry's mob at OT.
And so onto the Bridge this week. I'm confident that UTD will come away with a good result, just to show Chelsea that they can only beat UTD at SB with the help of the referee.
