@GHTT: He is class. It concerns me a bit that he plays away from the penalty box more and more.I would like to see him more around it.

@What: Yep no games coming up but we don't want it to be anything serious.Apparently he was injured.Lets hope it's something minor.

but costas he is really so good there
say if united got Klaas-Jan Huntelaar or a Klaas-Jan Huntelaar type player
or if manucho kiko simpson turn into thet type of player
that barca triangle type of play with berbatov rooney behind a striker up front or even ron up there

@GHTT: Yes i can see him like that. I was referring to the Scholes position you talked about above. He has gone in that position for United as well sometimes. This season his most magical moments were around the box(His assist to Ronaldo against West Ham and his control and pass to Tevez against City).Oh,and he should shoot more.I haven't seen too many shots of his go wide.

when i watch rooney play and berbatov play i dont understand this cry of 35 million is needed for tevez
he played like scholes first half
but switched to a rooney second
with glimpses of attack like the way eric or henry used to jsut burst into the box
he is unreal
and still rooney is better
its just so good for united
he should shoot more
but he is so good when i t comes to assists and he knows it

His touch is still the best i have seen in years. The ball is magnetised at his feet.People say that Tevez would have given the Barca defence a hard time. That might be true. But if Berba had started the final instead of Giggs and played behind Ronaldo, who from that Barca midfield was going to get the ball from him?A lot of "what ifs" after that final.

Vidic had a leg injury says Skysports.

i havent got into a what if about rome
and i never will
best team won
and united were set up to win not chase
so rome was sad but its football
oshea took a bad fall but seems to be cool
hope vidic is alright
and ill say it about berbatov
what should not be said
he is the closest ive seen to a player like cantona
dont get me wrong he aint no eric
because there will never be another eric
but his style and class scores creates awarness sharpness first touch
team player even to a fault just reminds me of eric
even when he was at spurs i used to say it and the fact that united have that type of player teamed up with what ever type of player rooney is(he's like whiteside law buchan robson best bruce cantona charlton keane foulkes and hughes had an orgy and 9 months later rooney was born)

Yeah Rooney is like Schwarzenegger in Twins. He needed 9 fathers to turn out like that!I hope in Rome was the last we saw him on the wing.

if sir alex thinks he should play against some teams on the wings im gonna just go with him because who am i to tell sir alex what he's doing is wrong, im no tevez. and the reason being he's always right
in the big picture
he plays kids against a team that are mid table and united lose
they'll end up winning the league because the first team got a rest
in sir alex i trust
and costas i trust you do to
what time is it your end

gotta hate tiny tears - Further to my earlier post and your reply. I know what you are saying mate I would love to see Rooney lift the World Cup but

a) It would be the cunt that is Tiny Tears lifting the thing

and

b) It will never happen, not in my lifetime!

Sure it would be great for Rooney and Rio to win things with England but to be honest im not too fussed about it. Can you imagine the hysteria surrounding fucking John Terry, we'd never hear the end of it. For Beckham i really hope Englan do well in SA, but for our lads....they really dont need England. Here's hoping that Rio also retires from international football after the world cup.

To be honest why didn't Rooney score with the first shot?
I think the lad had a poor game.

The ball came at such a awkward height and high speed that Rooney did well just to direct it goalwards, not to mention the goalkeeper did really well to claw it out. In all, the whole team played badly. In particular, Glen Johnsen had a shocker. Although he did well for the Rooney assist, he gifted many chances for the opposition to attack. Chelsea would do well to get him, haha

@ ghtt berba didnt do anything during the game that stood out at all mate, a few deft touches and stuff but look who he was up against, he missed an absolute sitter 1 on 1 with given when he should have smashed it he tried to control it and pass it in, i wasnt impressed anyway, had he 1 shot on target?

Morning guyz
iv been looking around and i found this player... looks class and could well be the perfect signing... forget benzema and everyone else this guy looks good...

http://www.imscouting.com/player_to_watch.aspx?id=LoNGBDW6s/zzEKH472MxsA||&name=Taison

and another thing
some of u are arguing for no striker cauz of welbeck and macheda..
i was thinking how about an OLD striker and well we could sign van nistelrooy. i know its not the ideal signing but in 2 seasons he could well score about 15 goals.. and a punt worth taking if united can sign kevin davies.. again NOT the ideal signing but strong player who can hold up the balll... is old and well can leave bringing in the way for macheda and welbeck to shine...
yes or no?

this is he i take it
great player

van nistelrooy-no
why sign someone we had and havent needed in the 3 years hes been gone
and if you do like that type of player then Klaas-Jan Huntelaar is the man for you
everything ruud has 5 years ago except he's faster

@GHTT
the reason im sayin van nistelrooy and not klaas is cauz we need a player who plays for us for 2seasons and then retires so that the door is left open for macheda and welbeck?
who though?
any volunteers

@Wazza: Exactly. It goes back one hour at the last Sunday of October and it goes one hour forward again at the last Sunday of March. So yeah we are pretty close,India and Greece. Have you seen that idiot Pareira's comments about teams like United raping Brazilian football? And coaches like him rape his profession!

Thanks Kings and GHTT.It will be interesting to see which offer Wigan prefer. This must not be good news for Nani.

@GHTT: As far as i am concerned, these players have parents right?Who appointed Parreira as their spokesperson? Messi was at Barca at a very young age.I didn't see this damage his career or Argentinian football. The same goes for Ronaldo(the Brazilian) who was at Eindhoven when he was 17.But it's easier to blame United than your own country's shortcomings isn't it.

GHTT - Funny how any mention of United gets us glued to the set straight away and keeps us interested, that's how much we love the club!

Costas - Pleasure mate. I remember a quote from Valencia saying that he would prefer to join United as he wants to stay in the Premiership. We'll see though. Apparantly he has gone away to think about. Watch this space as they say.

Get in wazza brilliant strikers goal. btw Berbatov looked good last night - thats the position I´d like to see him playing for united...

Rooney in the Hole, Berbatov delivering the chances, Ronaldo running riot on the wings. That would make us unbeatable...

I stand corrected.I wasn't Carlos Alberto Parreira who critisized United. It was Carlos Alberto former Brazilian footballer.
