Ronaldo and Messi have not been shit in tournaments, Ronaldo was brilliant in 2004 and 2006, granted 2008 and 2010 were not great but I put that down to Queiroz. It makes me laugh when people say the are crap for their national team Ronaldo reached a semi final and a final with Portugal for fuck sake and he was not a passenger he was very influential in that tournament. Messi played very well when he started his first world cup but Argentina went out before he could really make a statement and then he had the useless manager Maradona. Holland went out a few days ago but I thought Sneijder was excellent, Ibrahimovic was a boss in this tournament. People said Ronaldo been playing crap until he had scored against Holland what utter bullshit he had played well he just hadn't scored. I'm glad Keane tore Carragher a new one and was able to gloat over Veiria over his comments regarding Ronaldo when Portugal won.
