Great l'arse win the day before I head to North London. Hopefully Barcelona do them 2nd leg, they took their foot of the gas way too early such as taking Villa off. I want us to play Barcelona rather than l'arse. We have unfinished business with them.

Won't Puyol be back by then to replace Pique?

Messi had quite a terrible game by his standards. Maybe he'll do a repeat of what he did to L'arse at Camp Nou last year.

Willie. Don't think it is true mate. They beat the rentboys with that late iniesta goal still think the dagos will go through but shows how fucking over rated these cunts are. No goal in england for messi. Don't like it up em don't barca. They went to shit the last twenty minutes. Its been a non stop fucking wankfest since rome so their last two results this week will knock em down a peg. As I have said before and I don't care if I get stick iniesta is fucking over rated to fuck. As I said last night I hope they fucking get knocked out. Not listening to radio for a week now as it will be arsenal love in. Fair play to them though. Cracking second goal.

@MarchingRed, Might be so mate. Puyol, mmm, now he is a piece o work. Much slower and shorter than Pique.
At least it is a game then. Be good if the gooners do themselves some damage trying to win it.

That Arsenal Barca match showed very clearly how similar both clubs are: attractiveness, at the expense of pragmatism. And when such teams play each other, its unpredictable and spectecular game, but when they face really tough, pragmatic opposition Inter/Chelsea type, they mess it up. Not to mention SAF's blend of artistic pragmatism :)

Officials haven't been all bad but got some key decisions wrong in the last two days. Messi goal wrongly disallowed for offside and Arshavin handball at the end. Song was treading a fine line, too, but Barca have had their luck over the years. Villa substitution will go down as a mistake.

I think Pique being suspended is good for Barca. He looked sluggish like a Milan defender today. Mind you, Champions League, then World Cup, now Shakira? Lesser men would down tools entirely.

KING ERIC BC, Oh do me a favour
Arsenal attractive?
I would rather watch paint dry. But I dont have to as long as our youth team are playing.
And I usually give credit where credit is due, but Arsenal are fucking boring, You just have to look at their players, Song, Rosicky, Walcott, Bendtner, Arshavin, I rest my case.

Morrison motm, what a performance.. Tunnicliffe and Pogba
bossed the midfield. We lacked a striker, and I think we had almost 35 chances on and off the target.
Neville was a joy to listen to as well. What an intelligent and enjoyable human being.
And THAT goal from Morrison, took it very well. So calm. We have a great talent on our hands.

For all his talent, Messi cost Barcelona the match tonight. He is too fucking selfish and his decision making was not good enough!! Why on earth he did not square to David Villa? Tha would have put the whole tie to bed!

As it is, British media will go Arse crazy, ignoring the fact that they were dominated most of the time and referees disallowed a perfectly good goal for Barcelona. Nevertheless, cannot see Arsenal doing an Inter at Camp Nou!!!!

Actually, I've just seen the replay on ITV of the disallowed Messi goal and it was the right call. I thought Messi was alright, his biggest crime was missing his chances but he dropped deep and did some good work, set up the goal nicely. The english press are just as likely to say Messi is overrated because he's not scored in England again. Agree about the second leg though!

@red bob

Thanks for the link, nice to see RedNev doing the analysis

even with those few mins of highlights, we can see how good morrison is, hope he kicks on and plays regularly from here after two good matches one for the reserves last week and one now

special mention to pogba and tunnicliffe, they are too good for that level in mid

the most funny thing is where our first team midfield is lacking, that drive to move forward and dominate midfield away from home, where as our youth team and reserves have these excellent young mids, hope they step up pretty soon

Redbob. Spot on mate. Nev is no mug. Articulate and knows his shit morrison pogba and tunni are on a different level to most teams they play. Even nev said pogba will be sniffing round the first team soon. As I havbe said prior its tunnicliffe I like. A young keano and still seventeen but absolutely bosses the middle of the park. Mossison still needs to bulk up but some player.

As for barca again shows how much tougher the english league is. Hat tricks every other fucking week in spain but can't buy a goal over here. I hate arsenal but I hope they knock the cunts out but would rather have that pleasure ourselves. Been hyped up too long. Didn't see them making consecutivw finals. Idiotic decison to take off villa so early. Arrogant fuckers thought they had it sewn up. And pique like a few have said on here when attacked is a fucking liabilty as is alvez and maxwell. Had to laugh at posh cunt saggers. A united fan called in and said the barca bandwagon was ridiculous and gave stats of their piss poor record on the road. Saggers was agreeing all the way. Err fuck off public schoolboy you and your two bit stationn have been chief peddlars of the myth that NOBODY can beat barca. Those horrible cunts are hypocritical beyond belief.

Tonybee. Sorry for the delay but durham is a peterboro fan. Says it all. Pound to a penny lads and lasses it will now be talk of a north landan final. So predictable.

Sorry my second point someone mentioned inception and god forbid to piss off all the chris nolan fans but its not that good its like he's trying to hard,it way too long the action scenes quite frankly were silly and for me to be invested in a movie I have to care about the characters, I really didn't give a fuck if anyone lived or died and at the end was it real or was it Leonardo's dream I really didn't care whatever..his best movie was momento, genius,he also made a early movie called I think following that was a prelude to momento inception big fucking yawn.

Barca as good as they are, are also a group of diving cheating cunts when things don't go their way you can observe that pattern in most of the matches where they are stifled with tight defences of epl teams, for all the wankfest that's going on about messi the best let him play in epl and succeed the way Ronnie did in those two seasons

To all those who said we lost out when we "allowed" Pique to go to Barca, and got the raw end of the stick by buying that "nobody" Smalling, go fuck yourselves. Compare Pique against The arseholes, and Smalling against the shitholes, and there is no comparison. I hate the arseholes, but I'm glad they fucking won because I hate those Barca cunts even more. Barca are vulnerable against speed. They play high a high defensive line, leaving space in behind: the right through-ball can open them up. They are also weak out wide. Because of their "pressing game", they tend to close up and close in. That leaves space. They seem especially vulnerable to cross-field diagonal balls -- allow the cunts to close up and in, then switch the point of attack. And they are weak defensively, and I wouldn't give a rat's arse for their goalie. Plus, they looked really fucking tired in the last 10 minutes -- their fitness is really in question. Maybe fitness doesn't count so much in that weak excuse of a league where they play. The keys are: take the ball out wide, away from their center; keep a well organized defensive line; sucker them in close, then hit them with a creative through-ball or a diagonal; get in their faces at every opportunity; and make them run until they fucking drop. That's my take, anyway.

Spot on

And they are pretty bad at defending quality crosses, 8 of the 14 goals they have conceded this season before the arse game have come that way
