In fairness, Arsene Wenger, darren fletcher has had a pretty solid season throughout with a number of stand out performances...but he (along with Carrick and Ando) did a real number on the arsenal midfield tonight...

Why are you United fans so obsessed with this idea of Wenger as a paedo. Jesus youre like children sometimes. You moan about people singing nasty chants at you and then you go and do it right back.

fletcher always plays well against us,i dont think the game is over yet and if rio misses the next game i think it could get interesting, what i wanna know is if we win 1-0,and then extra time ends 2-1 to us,2-2 on aggregate do you go through on away goals?

I'm quite happy actually, considering the performance we put in and the decimmated defence you should be embarrased your £100 million attacking force could only score once.

Okay, can we stop descending into mediocrity here with our ridiculous debates which have nothing to do with football?

@arsene wenger - No the tie's not over yet, especially if Rio's out. But we do go in with the advantage, and arsenal have a loooot of issues to resolve which I'm not sure they can. Defensively you lot look at sixes-and-sevens, so I think you biggest concern has to be how not to concede. Because if you do, its over!

mahesh i said earlier i think united will score at the emirates, but we will have to see what happens, clichy will be back and we wont need to play diaby to cover gibbs, thats a great start for us ,and i thought gibbs did well, playin diaby was a waste of time

keanesmagichat , if we score first, then i think that will be the tie. Let's just beat Boro first. Those cunts will probably have their first full house this week and they will be kicking us all over the pitch.

a.w. asked about away goals.2-1 at extra time takes UNited through.

I'd be more embarrased that your apparent great footballes got played off the park and looked like total shite. Fancy your chances of keeping us out in the Emirates? After that limp wristed performance I hold no fear. Might book my flihts to Rome now to save a few quid, anybody else booking a flight?

i thought gibbs was solid, looks a player... nasri was non existent.. its only halftime.. would the rweal wenger have taken a one nil defeat? i think he knows the value of an away goal and fancied ye to grab one

2-1 during extra time?? ,do away goals count after the during extra time, thats pants

nasri was playin a strange role next to song ,at least the ref didnt book everyone,a couple players will be bottling challenges in the emirates tryin to avoid the bookings, gibbs is a manchester lad i think lmao

The word performance doesn't imply it was good. And yeah I do fancy our chances of keeping you out at the Emirates, christ if you couldn't finish tonight then you're gonna find it harder away in a stadium where we just beat the record for consecutive home clean sheets.

i felt you were taking liberties when you came on here.. if you say you were not then i am sorry about those paedo remarks.. im pretty sure haha and red dave felt the same

wenger wanted a goal, but i think conceding early in a way meant we had to hold back, if we could have kept it at nil nil united would have come out a bit more, so in the end a 1-0 aint so bad considering it could have been 4-1 if everyone took their chances

yeah right, you thought i was lookin for grief lmao, i prefer rival fans, whats the point of reading what arsenal fans have to say when most of them on blogs come from beeeeermenem and yarkkkkshire

I think away goals do count even after the 90 arsene - I'm not sure though, but I did think something was, as you put it, 'pants' about the rule and I think this was it...

imagine this, man united can have an extra 30 to get an away goal an take the game if we win the original 2nd leg 1-0 against you guys,i always prefered 1st legs at home, nothing better than killin your enemy off in their own yard

i would prefer the 2nd at home as we are good at strangling games and eeking out a 0-0... ala barca last year

barca to me look weak, that spanish league is just stronger than the scottish game, and bayern were in turmoil when barca duffed them up, i think barca were better last year , that defence is a year older, puyol and marquez, i think compared to ronaldo messi is just a myth

he scored two at the wk end costas so he should be sharp enough

i wonder if fabregas is even still partially injured playin in that role, its almost like a lack of faith playin your best player out of his best position

Boro is different than United though haha. I saw him at Anfield and he was also not good.Well, let's hope that SAF plays with the 3 midfielders again. They form and impenetrable secind line of defence.

messi is the best there is in my opinion.
ronaldo is amazing but messi can do things that even ronaldo cant do. i agree that la liga is not as strong as the premiership but i feel barca will score at chelski

i dunno haha, i think chris ron will run defenders into the ground over in the spanish league, not just messi, the whole spanish league is suspect,he has good balance and is exciting but chelsea just stood infront of him

i think we need to play a 442 against you lot, theo upfront with ade, eboue on the right, nasri on the left, song and cesc in the middle if were gonna have a chance we have to take a serious risk and hope man united just have a bad day infront of goal

keanesmagichat did you notice some petulance creeping back into Ronaldo's behaviour? I said it above. That moment when he made gestures at Rooney for an inaccurate crossfield pass, i wanted to break my TV.

eto is a strange forward he rarely hits a ball cleanly and gets about 6 chances a match and usually takes 1, but same as ade he could trap a bag of cement most of the time

Why is Wenger smug? Well, because arsenal were shit and still didn't get stuffed out of the CL. AW knows (or at least believes) that Arsenal can't play any worse and if they get better, there's a chance. We need to hope that Arsenal were shit BECAUSE we made them look it, and that we can do that again in a weeks time...

thats his nature no doubt, he is a narcissist... i dont really mind the giving out to teammates, its not a tickling contest out there.. but when things dont go his way he can give out like stink instead of rolling up his sleeves.

he might be smug on the camera lense but i guarantee wenger went balistic in the dressing room, if diaby isnt wearing his patience thin he should quit

I know the Spanish league ain't what it used to be but I think you might be giving it too little credit. Chelsea had to put their backs to the wall and they just about got out with a scoreless . You're right about him being dealt with easily by Chelsea but they sacrificed any hope of scoring themselves to contain the front men.
Im off to bed, see you boys later.

He is a narcissist but even he has to realize that at the moment,Rooney is the person that is making everything click for us.I believe Berbatov tracked back more than him.

Arsene ypour namesake's style is smug but i don't envision him as the haidryer guy.He has to realise that it was his decisions that failed Arsenal.
