Last week, I wrote an article about our FA Cup draw with Villa, and why it was actually a rather positive thing for the team. It now appears as though United shouldn’t be playing Villa at all, after eagle-eyed viewers spotted what could be a massive cock up by the FA.
It has been claimed that Sammy Nelson misread ’24’ for ’25’, and when he later read out ’25’, covered the ball so it was impossible to see the number. If this is the case, it should be Bristol City United are travelling to for the third round of the Cup, whilst Villa should be playing Middlesbrough at home.
