Hopefully rvp can start scoring a few for united, a nice little run would be appreciated, on blind, why am i not surprised he's injured? Not only is international football is the equivalent of watching paint dry, it's s hazard, Louis van gaal needs to get ruthless and take the fergie way and start ti invent injuries so players pull out of internationals, mourinho did it with fabregas and Costa, I am certain both will play at the weekend,

Looking through the entire team, although we are only jus halfway in Nov, but there isnt a player who have been available every game since the start of the season, except McNair, Januzaj and Valencia? Athough McNair wasn't considered for selection during the first few games but at least he was there to be picked

DDG - Dislocated finger
All defenders - Injures
Blackett - Suspension
Di Maria - Late signing
Rooney - Suspension
Rvp - Time off from WC
Herrera, Fellaini, Carrick - Injury

Oh, and we had Anderson of all people, who was available to play but....

Now Blind has ligaments! This is fucking unbelievable! so Harrop steps up or what! at this rate we will have our under 21 playing the rest of the season!

Unfortunately Carrick is injured as well so I guess the headache Van Gaal has right now is about what system to play now. Halfway through the international nonsense we still have Fellaini and probably a half fit Herrera still available. We have to be positive although this is starting to look like we are halfway through a season of The Walking Dead. To my fellow Africans this is a TV show in America about zombies. Zombies are.... Never mind just know it's an apt description of our injury situation.

Seriously though with the following midfield options what system would work vs a passing Arsenal?

Fellaini Herrera Rooney Di Maria and maybe Mata. Should we play with two strikers. RvP and Wilson. Or should we flood the middle. Decisions decisions

@Tommy

That's exactly what I was thinking the other day. International football is disruptive and good for nothing. Also we always have something to lose. Either momentum or injuries or most likely both. We are too noble for our own good. This is what I like about Mourinho. Probably the only thing. He despises international football openly and invents injuries for his players. We make our players available no questions asked. I'm thinking why the hell was Carrick called in to the England team? He has just come back from injury and was at dumped by the same Hodgson when it mattered. Why are you going back and especially now? Leave it to the Wilsheres and co. Prolong your career by doing a Scholes. It's frustrating. We already have problems b but players like Carrick are not wise to the situation and are getting themselves injured in training for an England team that doesn't value him

I couldn't believe Carrick was recalled by Hodgson nor that United let him join the squad. Still he could have just as easily been injured in training with United I suppose. I've been supporting United for 30 years and I can't ever remember an injury crisis like this. We have nearly an entire team injured.

De Gea
Rojo
Evans
Smalling
Rafael
Blind
Carrick
Young
Lingard
Falcao

It's ludicrous. Still it makes picking the team for Saturday pretty easy. There are hardly any players left to choose from! I have my fingers crossed that De Gea at the very least is able to play through the pain.

Well, there is one way of playing that Arsenal likely wont have an answer to... Stoke have done it time & time again. You know, using our alfro guy...

@MarkReid
Really? He had a bad last season and so was pretty much everyone. This season he hasn't been deployed as a winger, if you want to troll why don't you troll Januzaj? Or DiMaria how's been very wasteful with his corner kick?

Geez man

Mark is not a troll, he's just offering his opinion, none of our players can cross for shit, how hard is it to beat the first man? Our players seem incapable of doing so unfortunately

From what I recall, Valencia hasn't been able to cross for at least 2 seasons now. Always resorting to that low hard hit & hope. So I don't think it is wrong to criticize him, because he deserves it. The annoying thing is we know he can cross, as he had shown during his first 2 seasons with us. So God knows what happened to him. Its almost as if he forgotten how to do it.

To be fair, Di Maria does put in great crosses, just that its from deeper positions, ala what Beckham used to do. Put him on the corner area and it seems like he doesn't know how do it right.

And Januzaj... Has he put in so much of a cross yet? He is trying too hard this season to impress such that he always look to dribble and shoot, even from impossible angles.
