VIDEO: Welbeck Goal vs Blackburn

Danny Welbeck scored his sixth league goal of the season in Sunderland’s 3-0 win over Blackburn. Steve Bruce’s team are now 6th in the table.

Just brilliant Danny**** I love this lad.He is gonna rock our world next season.
Two magnificent young strikers at the Club him and Javier.
Nothing will stop us in the striking department in the future.
I know what game I will be watching on football first at 10.25, well for 13 minutes and after two minutes at the Hawthorns.
Well done Danny boy. Star mate. I am so glad Manchester City said he was not good enough at 8 years of age, ffs.Foresight eh.

I think that goal should be credited to last season's 2nd most prolific scorer - "own goal"

By the way, I just love watching Boudewijn Zenden's "hip hop styling". That Dutch Boy got rhythm. NOT !

I don't think Welbeck will wanna come back to warm the bench at United after tasting first team football and scoring goals. He will always be playing second fiddle to Rooney and Berbatov. I reckon he will leave just as Pique left United.

@ Alphars, well I can tell you mate a Journo asked the question at Carrington of Steve Bruce signing Danny, he went livid and real angry Sir Alex, he praised him so highly and defended Danny that he is doing brilliant and bulked up and faster and a Key part of the Black cats team, which is spot on.Danny is making Darren Bent a full fledged international look poor, dont say that in comparison to Pique.Its night and day.
Look at the scoring rate and time played with Rooney and Danny.
I think you will find when he is played its better.Not unlike playing time with Javier and Rooney.

@ Denton Davie it was a direct shot at the Goal, yes it was a deflection.
I believe therefore its Dannys goal. watching the game just now. lol.
How well did he control it with his chest, brilliant and class.
I dont get it when people talk a youngster down do you Davie?

I don't see why he won't back to united, he wasn't getting enough games when he was at united to fully develop but the talent was always there, he has made impacts especially in cup games for united, but he needed experience and is getting it now, he is banging in the goals and has improved tremendously, very versatile so when he does get back to old trafford and doesn't get break through as a centre forward instantly, he can always play as a left forward, we don.'t really have much options there currently, sir alex obviously rates him and any idea of bruce trying to sign him won't come to fruition.
