Giggs12 - True mate. United have produced loads of top quality players down the years. We're blessed to have seen these lads in action. My old man adored Bestie. That was the reason he supported United. From Sir Matt, to Sir Alex, i feel a lucky bugger to be brought up a Red.

Giggs12 - calling them poor would be over praising them mate. They change managers and it's still the same old crap, the same old problem yet to be rectified, xavi once said that tackling would never get applauded in spain, skill does and until england learn that, they'll remain backwards. Andy cuntsend doesn't help either, saying that donkey carroll had a solid game because he put himself "About" And done his defensive work. Fucking hell, england have really reached rock bottom when a striker is being admired for his heading skills in his own box. Carroll is shambles and that cross for young typifies his career. Tries and tries but he'll always remain a cumbersome drunk from newcastle.

Anyway, it's the same old story. My hats off to those that pay and go long distances to watch that, i'd rather watch a tortoise try flip over from lying on its back.

I don't undertand some of you guys . I mean in the "Hazard situation" some of you are already slagging him off . i know he wants attention and all that , but i'm sure you will all be happy as hell if he signs for us ! Same for Mourinho . give them a chance . no other club in the world is/will never be in the same situation that we are with Sir Alex , every single year brings us closer to his retirement and that's a fact . we will probably never find someone like him . That's just modern football . If Mourinho will ever join United , i believe he will adapt to our policy , he has to . But before nothing is confirmed , it's all just rumours, the media trying to hype things up . give them time .

Pretty chuffed about United players on england and internationals duty.
U19s Will gets 2goals
Seniors Ashley Young gets only goal v Norway.

Potential signing Hazard also got a goal as Belgium drew 2-2 with Montenegro.

Here is the FA postmatch link that the above video is from.

Samuel & Giggs12. Agree with you 100% about watching England play. Every time they play I think this time (more than any other time;)) perhaps we might see an exciting football match played with some quality, passion and verve. Every time within minutes it's the same depressing miserable plooding all lackluster and no skill football. I hate the way Gerrard plays, I hate the way he runs, I don't know what he brings to the party, he's nowhere near the player he was a couple of years back, and even then he never performed for England. I can think of perhaps 3 matches in 16 years that have actually been worth the hype. Holland 96, Germany 5-1, Argentina revenge 2002. Other than that kack! It's tragic, I don't to watch because it's always the same, but can't help myself.

United >>>> England. Roll on August...

WOW found this one in ManUtd forum, someone had posted it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4WwdkVaGWx4

Tom Cleverley and Anderson great combining.

But let's just not look at Tom, look at our teams movement at the beginning of the season --> unbeliavable, it's like old vintage United, beautiful passing and movements, and character.

I hope we find this rhythm again and keep it up. It is the DNA of United when you look that video. Absolutely beautiful.

ENJOY

and his comments that are PERFECT!

We have a player in our squad that is showing we dont need to splash 30+ MILLION ON A CM.

This player is the only one in our squad that has shown real silky passing and build up play.

the only one that seems to do the basics.......PASS AND MOVE. You watch him. he passes the ball and he is immediately off on a run to find space FORWARD...........THIS is why we played so well at the start of the season. compared to NOW. the players seem to wait for the ball to come to them as they all look rather rigid bar down the ride hand side of the field/wings.

this young man has CLEARLY got us ticking through the middle....FINALLY.

Early season proved this and i strongly believe next season, is the season he turns our midfield upside down.

just one simple bit of proof to show the difference..........MASS difference in us when he plays....im sure you have guessed him by now.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4WwdkVaGWx4 - please watch if you dont believe.

...........infact how could you not believe.

is it just coincedence that as soon as he was struck with injury we dropped IMMENSLEY in form and our style completely changed? i think not.

i only wonder what would have been had him and vidic stayed fit....

Crikey, Sir Alex says he will continue, but this last trip to hospital sounds serious enough.

Charlie Stillitano
“He was in tremendous pain. He basically had a nosebleed which wouldn’t stop and he was in pain. It can’t be pleasant when you’re 70 years old and you are bleeding uncontrollably — thoughts must enter everyone’s head.
“But I have been speaking to him every day and he has been getting better. He sounded terrific when I spoke to him on Friday.”

Must read for any Red.

The media is a ton of jokes. They say Carroll played a great pass to Young, and Gerrard made a superb move to draw defenders away to assist Young for his goal. Reading it you would think Carroll did a no-look back flick with his backside and Gerrard drew away 5 defenders to allow Young a free shot at goal.

The truth is, Young did everything himself

You might as well replace Carroll with a 6 and a half foot pole and it would be just as effective. Did you see his movement last night? He makes Heskey look like Raul.

35 mn for that lump has to be the worst piece of business in history.

Morning Cedars.

How have you been? And how is Haifa Wehbe-land treating you?

Talking of greats, I can't believe I wasn't on RoM on Bestie's birthday. Or Eric's, for that matter. Whoever our next number 7 is, he has a massive task ahead of him- those are huge shoes waiting to be filled.

Hello! I have been well mate, you still in Bahrain by the way?

The next no 7 has a lot to live up to true but at the end of the day its the player that makes the number and not the other way around.... Greats like Ole and Scholes etc had/have strange numbers, does not change the fact of how good they were/are

I have been moving around, ever since the riots. Currently in Bombay, but I don't know how long I can stick it out here. You know what they say about home and the hearth and everything.

I know. I hope someone goes and explains that to Eden prima donna Hazard, with the fuss he is reportedly kicking up over the number 10 jersey. Then again, I don't really trust the media. He might be a genuinely decent lad who is being made to look like an egoistic twunt by the media. Remember CR7's early days?

That does not sound good mate. If you still crave the Gulf you should try your luck in the UAE or even Oman, the latter is a great place to work and live.

As for Hazard I am not sure, I hardly get involved with all the transfer speculation, I do not have the patience for it mainly because I do not believe a word I read in the press. If we eventually get anyone then he will have my support, until then my trust in the boss is blind!

Agree on hazard mate I actually want him to sign regardless, I have reflected and want that cock sure arrogance we have lacked since Ronnie left.

Can't agree on Maureen though I woukd find it hard to renew if the mercenary took over us. It says it all when sir bobby doesn't want him anywhere near our great club.

Pep or Ole for me to take over in two years when it is widely believed SAF will retire.

Your comments on England are brilliant. Townsend also commented on Parker said je had a great game making a nuisance of himself? Is that our technical ability that we have been reduced to. I'd rather see Joe Cole back in than some of the sapps playing currently.

Morning Reds,

Giggs12Gerrard0: You've hit the nail on the head there, we need an arrogant tool in the team. Supreme self belief backed up by ability. The other lads on the team will have to play better just to stop him moaning.... competition for Rooney and someont to annoy the fans of other teams.

Like Ronaldo, if he wasn't our Ronaldo how much would you have hated him?

I've wanted Hazard for a bit but had been put off by some of the comments, but you've guided me back towards the light.... watch him go to Chelski now!

totally agree with that Cedars. I dont think Sir Bobby will be left out of the decision making this time. After all, he was the one totally convinced that SAF would make it here back in '86.

and btw, good day to all you reds!

There is room for comparison between Robbo and Keano.

It is incorrect to think that Keano is no where near as good as Robbo in any way.

Sir Alex described Roy Keane as "a fantastic servant, the best midfield player in the world of his generation, one of the great figures in our club's illustrious history"

My personal favourite is Robbo.

Will have to disagree mate saying Keano didn't compare in anyway. Roy was the catalist in our greater era as a team and sometimes its hard to say modern day players are better than our legends I.e. Ronaldo versus Best, people woukd think I'm on crack but actually look at what Ronnie did 06/08 it was ridiculous although I'm not saying he was better than best. Spanner in the works as well I'm taking nistlerooy over Cantona.

I know. Oman seems to be the safest bet right now. Or Dubai (which reminds me, does Balaji still live
there?)

Silly season does get annoying. I feel totally cut off, partly because I don't follow the German/Italian/French/Mexican leagues, so I have no idea how good Kagawa/Hazard/insert-random-overrated-18year-old's-name-here really are. So while the Sanchez/Ozil cliques come and go, I just sit around and wait for the real action to begin. And with the transfer activity we've had with Glazernomics and everything, that is a truly wonderful thing. Better not to get involved than to hope and be left disappointed.

Morning.

Giggs and Tonka. Yes I know what you mean. I said last week we need that star dust player that gets you off your seat. The arrogance thing is a great point. He would get RIGHT under peoples skin like Ronnie did. He will make Ingerlund look silly next Sat at Wembley.

Meanwhile gonna watch Crewe this aft as been hearing this Nick Powell stands out like a sore thumb in the side.

Marq. Spot on. Stevie Me got more plaudits for the goal last night. Piss take. Like you say Young did it himself. He can't be too bad bagging five in last six for Ingerlund. As usual joining United has seen his game go up a notch.
