Yeah, I'm with you on that one, Scott. I never would have thought it of Sparky. I'm so disappointed. Before Keane signed, Mark was my favourite United player. I'm just devastated.

Yeh, im gutted. I was hoping he would be a United manager in the future. Doubt it will happen now though.

Mind you, if City get relegated next season, all is forgiven Sparky!

agreed dave. hughes was my long term favourite for the United job after Fergie and CQ gave it a go... someone amazing would have to make it happen now. Why Hughes? Why?

Went off him when he started to get very anti-United at Blackburn. Always trying to do us, arguing with Fergie and then turning round and going on about being a Chelsea fan. Really tried to derail our league campaign too.

Feel nothing for him now.

I am GUTTED!!!!!!! He made a team out of Blackburn, bloody hard to beat, play the good stuff and bad, sprinkling of quality players in the likes of Samba, Santa Cruz, Gamst-Pederson, freak of nature Friedel, old legs but still giving it some tugay- why, why, why????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?!! Sparky, why???????? Having 50 mill extra to spend on two brazilians, jo and ronaldinho, of which only jo is most likely to materialise, why Sparky??!!!?!!??!?!?!?!?!?!? AARGH!!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!? FCUK?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Someone take me away?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AAARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111

He said he's not sure he could take Blackburn any further, but isn't that the same with Man Sh!tty? How far does he want to take them that he couldn't at Blackburn? Seems the red in his veins have dried up unlike Brucey. Oh well good luck to him except when he plays us.

Oh come on. Hughes was my fav player, but he is a manager now. He did very well at Blackburn turning them into top 6 finishers on fuck all budget when compared to Shitty, West Ham, Newcastle, Everton, Portsmouth, and now he wants a new challenge and a chance to prove he can do good with a decent transfer budget. If he does well there is no reason why he cannot get a step up into a bigger club, hopefully Man Utd. And this crap about him been anti Utd? WHat did you expect of him? "Hey guys we are trying for a top 6 finish but our 2 games against Man Utd this season I want you guys to roll over cos I am a legend there and want the fans to like me" FFS.

Just1n, alright. he made his choise. unfortunately.
brilliant player, but this is another thing. he didn't want to wait for his chance because he wants new challenges and isn't a truly Mank.
As simple as that.

hate to dissapoint everyone but mark hughes is a clever man. which is why he went to city!
anyone who says "they wouldnt have gone if they were him" are trippin!
could be worse, he coulda gone to liverpool!
only an idiot would turn down a good opportunity to prove urself at a club that has money on the "slim hope/dream of becoming the manager of man utd."
those who are calling him a judas and other things need to think about it. do u also think roy keane is a judas and steve bruce and bryan robson? cos if they were offered the same job, they,d av taken it also.

Matt Busby also managed Shitty... and I did not have problems with Schmeichel playing for them.

I still wouldn't mind if he ended up at United in the future though I agree that the picture is quite sickening.
