Aaron Wan-Bissaka has made a great start to life at Manchester United. The right-back has impressed our fans with his willingness to go forward as well as his incredible pace when tracking back and excellent tackling ability.
It appears as though United fans aren’t the only ones to notice, with Gareth Southgate announcing today that Wan-Bissaka is part of the England squad for the upcoming European Qualifiers against Bulgaria and Kosovo.
This is Wan-Bissaka’s first call up to the England national team, having represented England at U-21 and U-20 level before now.
Kyle Walker, John Stones, Dele Alli, Jack Butland or Fabian Delph are among the players to miss out on the squad, with Wan-Bissaka competing with Trent Alexander-Arnold for the right-back spot.
