It was reported this week that Wes Brown would be missing for three months after breaking a bone in his foot against Wolves.
More positive reports emerged yesterday though, suggesting the more likely timescale until his return will be four to six weeks, meaning he should make it back for the last three games of the season, but will miss our clashes against Liverpool, Chelsea and City.
“Unfortunately he’s had a career that’s been blighted with injury, and all long-term injuries unfortunately for the lad,” said Ferguson. “He’s got another one and he’ll be out for four to six weeks. I hope that we can get him back for some of the season, but that’s the situation for him.”
